The API returns automated suggestions for merchant names and categories. They may be wrong or incomplete. Do not rely on them alone for tax, legal, accounting or compliance decisions.
Keep your key secret. You are responsible for calls made with it. We may block keys used for abuse, reselling the raw API without added value, or attempts to get around limits.
Paid plans are monthly subscriptions billed through Stripe. You can cancel any time; the plan stays active to the end of the paid period. Plans set per-minute rate limits and batch sizes, not a monthly number of calls. Limits are enforced on a best-effort basis. Paid keys expire within 35 days and are renewed through /v1/refresh while the subscription is active.
Email us within 14 days of any charge and we will refund that charge in full. If you paid and your key was not issued, email us with your receipt and we will fix it or refund you.
We aim to keep the service running but do not promise any uptime. We may change or end the service; if we end a paid plan we will refund the unused part of the current period.
The service is provided as is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
